This looks like the view from the Star wars Falcon Millenium cockpit. Didn't know you were a fan.

Rene,
Actually, I din´t think about Star Wars, when I was doing this image. But as soon as it were read, It looks like a futurist spaceship. Did you understand the name?

Yes, the promise for happiness. I know, titles play a big role in your paintings.
With that title it looks more like a Tantalus's punishment ;)

Rene, What is Tantalus´s punishment?

A greek myth. Tentalus invited Zeus for a meal, but as ultimate offer he cooked his son for dinner. He was punished by the gods: for eternity he must stand in water under a roof filled with sweet smelling grapes. But whenever he reaches for the grapes tbend away, whenever he reaches to drink, the water retracts.
In short: temptation without satisfaction.
Don't you think that the old greeks had horrid fantasy?

Old Greek´s hell was tediousness.
The eternity of pain. All the punishment are do something forever.
Thank you for tell me the Tentalus history, I didn´t know.
